Welcome to my personal page. Thanks a lot for being here, I’m very happy to greet you on this website and I hope you’ll enjoy your visit! You’ll find more about myself here but before I get started I’d like to answer this simple question : why this website?
In 2016, I went to Australia for a year with a Working Holiday Visa (you don’t know what this is? Great, that’s what my first article will be about. Stay tuned!). I always loved travelling, even before that ; I went to quite a lot of places around Europe over the years, or in North America as well in 2015. But this trip was different : I left everything behind me and started the biggest adventure of my life.
It was going to be just for a year. I was supposed to come back then, and everything was ready for it. But I never did. I left Australia though (for now, but I already miss it and will be back soon) but I didn’t go back to my previous life. This year changed me too much! Now I see my future in plane tickets, new destinations to explore and crazy things to live. That’s why I started this website :
I want to share all these new experiences with you, and show you what’s inside my backpack, literally and figuratively.
It’s also quite a big challenge for me as well to write in english as it’s not my mother language, so please forgive me if I make a few mistakes sometimes!
This blog will probably be a lot about Australia in the beginning, as I’ve got so many things to say about this country, especially about Melbourne (my favourite city in the world so far!). But I’ll also share with you what my wanderer’s life looks like, with some tips for your next holidays and more travel stories from everywhere in the world. Don’t miss my gallery : I’ll progressively upload my favourite pictures and I hope you’ll like them ! And if you want to have more recent news from me, follow my facebook page and my instagram account too.
So are you ready to travel with me? Put your backpack on and let’s go exploring!
(This picture was taken from the comic strip “Calvin & Hobbes” by Bill Watterson ; if you never heard about it, run to your closest library and start reading. It’s brilliant.)
