Christchurch, main town of the South Island of New Zealand, suffered a lot from a deadly earthquake in 2011 (185 victims) and many parts of the city are still under construction. If you’re going there, make sure to spend at least one day in Akaroa on the Banks Peninsula and don’t miss also Kaikoura a bit further North.

Si vous vous y rendez, faites-en sorte de passer au moins une journée à Akaroa sur la Péninsule de Banks et ne manquez pas Kikoura un peu plus au nord.
