Mount Taranaki and the West Coast

Mount Taranaki is a 2518m high volcano with an almost perfect conic shape. Climbing to the summit is only for experienced hikers, but walking around in the forest is great and possible for anybody. The coast around Mount Taranaki is also really beautiful, from black sand beaches to cliffs and rock formations. Here are my pictures of this western region of the North Island of New Zealand.
