Quebec City is one of my favourite cities in the world, for reasons that I explained in an anrticle called “7 reasons to love Quebec City“. No need for words here, pictures will be enough to explain you why I loved so much!
Quebec City and its iconic Château Frontenac!
The streets of the old town are full of life and people, it’s great to walk on them
Rue Saint-Jean with the St. Laurent in the background!
I also love these little backyards, lovely terraces and outside stairs everywhere in Quebec City
Some of the houses look exactly like they were taken directly from Brittany
The Château Frontenac is a hotel but it’s so beautiful that you can’t help taking pictures of it!
Coffee is excellent in Quebec City
The best treat ever after a day walking around old town: italian style vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate: soft inside, crunchy outside. Yummy!!
The great view from Lévis, on the other side of the St. Lawrence
When you see street artists in Quebec City, you know that you won’t be disappointed by their shows: they’re always excellent!
Another example of the art tradition in Quebec City, with this stunning free circus show in the best location ever with the Château Frontenac in the background
I love the contrast between the dark sky and the bright ramparts on this picture
There are still a lot of old cannons, reminders of the rich history of Quebec City
The Montmorency Fall, just outside of Quebec City
Perfect rainbow at the bottom of the Fall!
The Montmorency Fall is 83m high, 30m more than the Niagara Falls!
The best moment to cross the St. Lawrence to Lévis is at sunset
Eclipse!
That view…
There was a sound and light show with water in Lévis, just next to the ferry station
