The Sierra Nevada is a mountain range that stretches for almost 700km in California, in the heart of which are located three beautiful National Parks: Sequoia, Kings Canyon and Yosemite. The nearby parks of Sequoia and Kings Canyon are home to giant sequoia trees, including the two largest trees in the world, the General Sherman Tree and the General Grant Tree. Further north, Yosemite was one of the highlights of my road trip around the American West with its gorgeous hiking trails, its countless waterfalls and its impressive cliffs such as the Half Dome or El Capitan.
