South of Andalusia, Spain

I travelled around Andalusia during two weeks in February-March 2022, with a short road trip in the south of the region during the first few days. It was absolutely wonderful! I visited many gorgeous towns: Cadiz, which was a very rich and powerful harbour during the 16th century, Tarifa, the southernmost city in Europe, just across Morocco and at the border between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, and a lot of stunning traditional white villages. But the highlight of this road trip was the visit of Ronda, a wonderful city famous for its 98m-high bridge, the Puente Nuevo, crossing the gorges of the Guadalevin river which divides the town in two parts. A really extraordinary place!
