Bangkok, Thailand

How to summarize Bangkok? I went there for the first time for a short stopover in 2018, and I had the feeling of having been parachuted into the heart of a fabulous mess, in the middle of a huge mess, in a joyful nonsense. A motley mix of Westerners, street vendors, Buddhist monks, policemen or soldiers in uniform and pilots of tuk-tuks… It would take a lifetime to experience every aspect of this city, but I particularly enjoyed this brief visit and came back for a second stopover in 2023! From the rich glidings of the Grand Palace to the Reclining Buddha of Wat Pho, from the busy lanes of Chinatown to the temple of Wat Arun, here are my best pictures of this extraordinary city!
