South of Iceland

Iceland is a wonderful country and I was amazed by everything I saw during my trip in 2018, but the south coast was definitely my favourite part. From the black sand beach of Reynisfjara to the glacier lagoon of Jokulsarlon, from the very picturesque Solheimasandur plane wreck to the dozens of waterfalls, there are countless wonders in this part of the country. Icing on the cake, it’s also where I saw my very first northern lights!
